Undertaking work for friends can be a risky proposition, but this project turned out to be an enjoyable experience with a fantastic outcome. The project was executed in two stages, beginning with the island and culminating with the main wall approximately 12 months later. Careful planning and timely handling of details, such as pre-ordering handles to avoid any future headaches, enabled us to create a space that exceeded the client's expectations.
Given the small footprint of the kitchen, we had to be innovative with storage solutions. The client's preference for drawers and an appliance cabinet for pantry storage was incorporated into the design, and the result works exceptionally well for their family of five. The microwave was cleverly positioned off the benchtop but within easy reach, nestled neatly at the side of the island.
The kitchen boasts a large refrigerator, a spacious oven, and a stunning copper sink, which adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall design. The final result is a kitchen that not only looks fantastic but also functions beautifully, providing ample storage and convenience for the family.
Overall, we were thrilled to have been a part of this project and delighted to have delivered a space that the clients were overjoyed with. With a smart design and attention to detail, we were able to create a kitchen that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing, proving that even working with friends can have a happy ending.
